| This is a small list of a couple of pubs in the central
area of Barcelona. Included are the city's two homebrew pubs. Barcelona
is a big city and has hundreds of pubs. Those listed here are nothing
more than a tiny fraction of the total. The city has five breweries in total: two brewpubs, micro Llúpols i Llevats (whose beers are sold under the Glops brand), contract brewer Moritz and one of Spain's largest breweries, Damm. |

| An "English" pub that, oddly, specialises in Czech beers.
It has Sky TV (if you really can´t miss that footy match), pool and darts.
Sounds great. My comments about fake Irish pubs also apply to pretend English
pubs. But they do have an interesting Czech lager on tap. |

| A bar specialising in Belgian beer. It has a very modern interior
with a nauseating purple/mauve colourscheme (I know - I´m a stonethrower
in a greenhouse on this issue). Looks achingly trendy and probably the sort
of place where I would get funny looks. The beer list includes Rochefort, Orval, Tripel karmeliet, Chimay, Westmalle and Val Dieu Tripel. |
